University of Michigan Clearinghouse- Search the Argus  Clearinghouse's vast inventory.

CUSI- Yet another search engine from Nexor.

DejaNews- search the Usenet newsgroups by subject.

Dogpile- Get a pile of answers to your queries with Dogpile.

Education World Search Engine- Get educated with this search engine.

European Directory- If European sites are what you want, this place will help you locate it.

Excite- this search engine contains more files than even Lycos.

Fish Search- nothing to do with fish.

FTPSearch v3.6- Need the newest version of that program but don't know which ftp site has it? Try this.

HotBot- It's got what's HOT.

Hytelnet- a Telnet search engine.

Image Surfer- You Like Pictures? Find em here. From our friends at Yahoo.

Inference Find- Uses Parallel searches to find what you need.

Infohiway- something they claim to be "surfing" as opposed to "searching".

InfoSeek- popular commercial search engine.

Info Space- Go submit your homepages so that you too can be amongst Who's Who on the net. Yellow Pages search for businesses.

Internet Rank Engine- Ranks right up there with the best.

Internet Email Registry- Forget your friend's e-mail address? Try looking in the Internet Registry.

Internet Sleuth- the Sherlock Holmes of search engines. Lots of database links.

InterNIC- These guys keep track of domain names and IP lookup addresses. This is a directory of directories.

Irena- an Australian based search engine. Also try the University of Western Australia.

List of Lists- A gopher search engine.

Lycos Catalog- this thing is huge.

Magellan search engine- give it a try.

Mamma- The site says it's "The mother of all search engines." Mamma knows all.

Metacrawler- You'll be moving alot faster than a crawl with this massive meta search tool.

Nerd World Media- I always knew nerds were good for something.

Netlink- search engine at Washington University.

New Riders' Official World Wide Web Yellow Pages- let your browser do the walking through these Yellow Pages.

PinStripe Livelink at the Open Text Index- very powerful.....use Boolean, ranked, or simple keyword based searches.

Savvy Search- Uses several different search engines as a source to answer your queries.

Snoopie- Snoopie does the snooping for you.

SoftInfo Software Search- If your local Best Buy doesn't have that software title you are looking for, try this out.

Switchboard.com- Find people, businesses, websites. Track down ex-girlfriends/boyfriends here.

Tradewave Galaxy- The galaxy is a big place, so use this engine to search for what you need.

Veronica- a gopher search engine.

The Virtual Tourist- a geographic directory of all the WWW servers in the world.

W3 Servers- another geographic server search like the Virtual Tourist.

WWWomen- Search for topics pertaining to women.

Web Crawler- one of our favorite search engine.

WebSeek- Search for images and video on the web. One of our personal favorites. Try it just for fun.

What's New Too- adding new sites daily.

World Wide Arts Resources- a search engine  for visual arts on the WWW. A wonderful place to browse even if you aren't looking for something.

Yahoo- probably the most popular search engine, but we prefer the Advanced Yahoo Search.
