The 2008 MoVal camp schedules have arrived. There are camps available for the young and the young-at-heart running from May 30—September 11 and lasting 3-7 days!!!! Wow! What a summer you could have!!!! Camps range from 1st grade through adult—from Discovery Camp for first time campers through Over 50’s Camp with our very own Rev. Carl & Marilyn Norton as your hosts!!!!! There is Campers’ Leadership Training for ages 15-18, High School Camp grades 9-12, Middle School Canoe Camp at Shannondale for grades 6-8, even a Family Camp! Camp fees for youth will be shared with contributions from the family and St. Martin’s Camp Fund. The family contribution will be $30 per child plus t-shirt and/or picture fees. Camp T-shirts are $10 and photos (5x7 color )are $3. Bringing total family contribution to $43.00 per child to be sent with the camp registration form. |
A special fellowship hour is planned with a good old
fashioned cookout! Ahh, I can smell the hotdogs already! Good will
donations will be accepted to help the Camp Fund and ensure that
all who want to go to camp can! Camp registration forms will be
available that day. Meet
the early bird deadline of April 13th to save $10-$20 on camp.
Don’t forget to include your family share with registration
forms; please make checks or money orders payable to MMS-UCC. (MoVal
asks that no cash be sent). Camp information is posted on the
bulletin board in the narthex. Employment opportunities are also
available for counselors, and health staff volunteers are needed.
