Family Worship, First Sunday of every Month

The First Sunday of every month we celebrate Family Worship, and Holy Communion. On Family Worship mornings there is no children's Sunday School class as we worship and commune together with our families.

As children arrive we welcome them to worship and the life of the church by providing their own "church bulletin" materials, crayons and a clip board to use in the pew during worship.

Child care is provided for restless preschoolers.

During the service, children are invited to gather in a circle of fellowship with the pastor at the foot of the alter, for his specially prepared Children's Sermon.

Following the Children's Sermon, children may return to worship with their families or they may be 'shepherded' from the sanctuary to SonShine Haus for Sunday School.

'SonShine Haus' Children's Sunday School Hour

"Open Up Your Heart and Let the Son Shine In!"

Named to honor our Messiah and our German heritage, the Children's Sunday School hour at 'SonShine Haus' opened on Sunday School Rally Day, 2006.

Children 3 years through 13 are welcome in the house that was once the home for St. Martin's pastors.
